The Common Factor – Australia's next conservative leader

A number of posts have been made today referring to the turmoil in Australia's main conservative party, the Liberal Party of Australia. It is very likely that the current Leader of the Party (and Leader of the Opposition for Australia) Malcolm Turnbull will be removed from that position by a vote of the Parliamentary party next week. Turnbull is from the 'moderate' (least-conservative) wing of the party and holds the position as leader simply because a lot of people hoped he'd be able to win the next election. His polling makes that very unlikely at this point, and he's lost...
