Skelton endorses Gen. McChrystals properly resourced Afghan strategy
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Sept. 22, 2009) In a letter to the President, House Armed Services Committee Chairman Ike Skelton (D-Mo.) expressed support for the Afghanistan counter-insurgency strategy endorsed by President Obama last March. Skelton urged the President to give this strategy, and Commanding General Stanley McChrystals counter-insurgency campaign plan, the resources and time required to show success in Afghanistan.
