Musical message: Celebrate with Care
My brother Marc loves setting the Psalms to music. Over the last 30 years, he's come up with settings for perhaps half the 150 psalms, including the entirety of Psalm 119. Usually, Marc's melodies are an obvious fit to the theme of the psalm: joyful melodies for psalms of praise, mournful melodies for psalms of repentance, stirring melodies for psalms of victory. His treatment of Psalm 12 is particularly effective.
