Lawmakers may propose "War Tax" to pay for Afghanistan
No link for this as I just heard this being reported on FOX News. It appears that some liberal lawmakers, Charlie Rangel, David Obey and a couple of others may be proposing a "War Tax" on the wealthiest of Americans to pay for any upcoming troop surge in Afghanistan. If there is such a thing as poetic justice...this is it. They would effectively be making all of the rich, anti-war Hollywood leftists pay for a war they have claimed to be against for the past 8 years. Hope and Change!!
